Sarah Jane Cornils
Sarah Cornils will graduate in the class of 2021, and hopes to attend the art institute in Portland, Oregon. She would like to find a career in teaching middle and high school level art. Her fall back is to pursue a degree in digital art, so she can go into web design.
Her favorite classes are IB literature and IB art. Her hobbies include running, skiing, painting and dance. She coaches skiing on the weekends. She has begun pursuing a future career in art by by filling galleries, and helping other artists run theirs.
Her goal is to continue to do this, and look into internships, the IB program allows her to gain these opportunities. Her interest in journalism began her sophomore year; she had friends taking the journalism one class and felt like it was a good way to learn about the activities around West, and inform others about them.
