The game that has taken the world by storm, Fortnite, in just little time has become such a popular game for gamers to play. Fortnite is a co-op multiplayer survival game that is compatible to play on IOS, Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game one would say is similar to the Hunger Games, but with the exception where you have to survive against 99 other players until you are the only one left. It was made last year in 2017 by developers Epic Games, and millions of people play it around the world.

Even West playing the game why might somebody be interested in playing it? “My friends have Fortnite so I like playing the game with them,” says 17-year-old junior Azjahon Dowl, who plays the game on Playstation. The game is so fun Dowl often plays it every night. The game is free, anybody can play it.

Jon Hernandez, a 16-year-old sophomore, enjoys playing the game due to its concept and simplicity to the game. Hernandez brags about his skills at the game, saying, “I don’t know about other people but… I win about 10 times a day.” He even often puts it on his Snapchat story after winning a game.

Another student at West who also plays the game 18-year-old Brandon Smithers who when asked would you recommend to others responded with “Heck Yeah!,” and reminisces about how great getting a win in the game is.
